What is possible when we imagine an economy that we can all believe in?
Our north star is a more inclusive, participatory economy – one in which communities have agency over their futures.
To help build it, we invest in civic infrastructure.

As a civic incubator, we function as
part R&D lab,
seed investor,
and nonprofit.
Edge Collaborative seeds, supports, and spins out civic initiatives.
We do this by:
Bringing community priorities, ideas, and solutions to light
Deploying capital and skilled expertise to unlock and propel the aspirations of community partners
Forging public-private-community partnerships among groups that do not normally interact (or even like each other)
The result is proof-of-concept demonstration projects.
We believe that these demonstration projects can do ‘market building’ for solutions that expand the boundaries of what is possible when communities demonstrate what our economies can look like.

Edge Collaborative is headquartered in the Central Valley of California – catalyzed by the potential of Stockton, where we have begun our work.
Stockton represents the experience of many cities and towns across America—urban, rural, and in-between—full of potential, but who also suffer from legacies of disinvestment and neglect. These are the types of places that ground us and inspire us. Together we will chart a new approach to a more inclusive economic future.
